Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their finance team remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and reconcile daily financial transactions and maintain the general ledger
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and assist with audits

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1-3 years of accounting experience in a corporate environment
• Experience with accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
