Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer, Edge Delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Write C and Rust code to meet customer demands and improve Varnish subsystems
• Lead full lifecycle projects and communicate project status to stakeholders
• Mentor engineers and foster a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of production experience as a software engineer, with 2+ years on networked/distributed/cloud systems
• 3+ years of experience with C or Rust
• Experience in incident response and mitigation
• Motivated to improve existing workflows through tools and automation
• Formal CS education is not required; demonstrable experience is sufficient
