Substation Protection Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Substation P&C Designer.

Key Responsibilities

• Design substation protection and control drawing packages and documents for electric power substations using AutoCAD Electrical
• Provide project lifecycle support from scoping to final design and implementation, ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Safety Code
• Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to develop necessary drawings and provide design markups for projects

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma with relevant experience (2+ years for Level 3, 3+ years for Level 4, 5+ years for Level 5)
• Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical with Substation Design Suite and experience in substation protection and control design
• Ability to design schemes utilizing SEL and GE protection and control relays
• Experience with document control software such as Bentley Projectwise and Autodesk Vault
• Stable high-speed internet connection of at least 100Mbps
