Supplier Project Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Supplier Project Engineer, Procurement.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary project manager for supplier performance, overseeing costs, schedules, and resource allocation
• Act as a liaison between internal teams to ensure alignment with contract requirements and technical direction
• Develop comprehensive Statements of Work (SOWs) and lead project planning initiatives for supplier projects

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Technical degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Nuclear, Systems, or Civil Engineering
• 10-20 years of experience in supplier oversight, with 3-5 years in manufacturing oversight preferred
• PMP certification or equivalent project management training is preferred
• Proficiency in understanding fabrication travelers and manufacturing standards, particularly UL 508A
• Broad understanding of mechanical, electrical, and nuclear engineering and their interrelationships
