Sustainable Land Management Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sustainable Land Management Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and review successful practices in combating desertification for inclusion in the WOCAT platform
• Conduct surveys and interviews to map successful sustainable land management practices in semi-arid territories
• Document and systematize experiences and prepare a technical report on sustainable land management practices

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field such as Ecology, Environmental Sciences, or Agronomy
• Minimum of three years of experience in sustainable land management or related environmental projects
• Working knowledge of English and Portuguese
• National of Brazil or resident with work permit
• Experience with the WOCAT platform and knowledge management
