Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sustainable VC & Post-Harvest Expert (Green Practices & Financing).

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of post-harvest practices in the olive oil value chain and identify challenges and opportunities for sustainability
• Recommend actionable solutions for upgrading business models and encourage environmental certifications
• Provide technical guidance on value chain optimization and support capacity-strengthening efforts through training module design

Required Qualifications

• Advanced university degree in environmental policy, agricultural economics, or a related field
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in agrifood value chain development or sustainable post-harvest systems
• Strong knowledge of international sustainability and environmental standards
• Proficiency in digital tools for reporting and analysis
• Working knowledge of English (level C)
