Tax Preparer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Tax Preparer to join their Regulatory & Tax Compliance Operations team in a remote role.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze client tax and revenue data to prepare accurate returns
• Prepare supporting workpapers and reconcile client ledgers to imported tax data
• Facilitate and process state and local tax filings both paper and online and ensure timely payments

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (math degree preferred) or equivalent experience in accounting
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other digital tools
• Effective prioritization and time management skills to meet tax deadlines
• Familiarity with telecommunications industry tax requirements (preferred)
