Taxonomist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Taxonomist to ensure accurate product categorization and improve taxonomy structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular audits of taxonomy to ensure accuracy and proper categorization
• Develop monitoring tools and dashboards for taxonomy coverage and manage vendor classification
• Build and maintain taxonomy definitions while optimizing the categorization structure

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in taxonomy, digital asset management, or related fields
• Bachelor's degree in library science, information science, business, or related field
• Intermediate proficiency in SQL and Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis
• Experience with large datasets and product attributes
• Proven track record of process improvement and ownership in projects
