Technical Writer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Technical Writer to produce and edit healthcare-related documents remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Format, review, and edit various reports and documents for local, state, and federal agencies
• Develop templates and formats for company documents in collaboration with key staff members
• Maintain document tracking systems and implement version control processes during editing

Required Qualifications

• Degree in English, technical writing, journalism, communication, or a related field preferred
• At least five years of editing experience, preferably in the healthcare industry
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and SharePoint
• Experience with Section 508 accessibility standards is a plus
• Ability to manage multiple projects and adhere to tight deadlines
