SCOPE

The Environmental Remediation (ER) Program at N3B identifies and remediates environmental hazards associated with past Los Alamos National Laboratory operations and monitors groundwater and surface water to ensure the protection of the environment and the public. The Regulatory Documentation Team also prepares all N3B documents and correspondence required by the LLCC for submittal to DOE. Additionally, the team prepares Contact Handled Transuranic waste (CH-TRU) documents that fall under the Federal Facilities Compliance Order (FFCO) and Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) Hazardous Waste Facility Permit (HWFP).

The successful candidate will function as part of N3B’s Regulatory Documentation Team to support the requirements of the Consent Order, the Individual Permit, FFCO, HWFP and the LLCC.
