Temporary Assistant Editor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a temporary Assistant Editor.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the visual presentation of TimesOC and the Daily Pilot, including photo assignments and print page design
• Copy edit community stories and manage social media accounts for the publications
• Ensure adherence to deadlines and quality standards for both digital and print content

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• One or more years of design and/or editing experience
• Experience with Newsgate/Cue is a plus
• Understanding of audience data and analytics for informed decision-making
• Commitment to the company's mission and strategy
