Job Summary
A company is looking for a Behavioral Health Care Advocate (Assessment & Triage) to manage case management and utilization review for behavioral health and substance abuse cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide crisis line coverage, reviewing clinical data for medical necessity and authorizing services
- Manage case load by assessing requests for services and consulting with physicians on denials
- Conduct clinical assessments and assist in care coordination while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
Required Qualifications
- Independently licensed Masters-level mental health professional, licensed Ph.D., or Registered Nurse with 3+ years of recent behavioral health experience
- Active and unrestricted license in the state of Tennessee
- 2+ years of clinical experience in a related mental/behavioral health setting post-independent license
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn multiple proprietary software applications
- Permanent residence in the state of Tennessee with access to high-speed internet and a designated quiet workspace
