Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical & Billing Coder.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate the appropriateness of codes and ensure they meet established program standards
• Match medical records to codes and obtain them if necessary
• Provide clinical oversight for complex cases and ensure quality assurance of cases

Required Qualifications

• Must have a CPC, AAPC, or DRG coder certification
• Payment integrity or professional bill review experience is strongly preferred
• Experience in a remote environment is preferred
• Extensive knowledge of Texas billing resources is a plus
• Experience in a medical office or healthcare background is preferred
