Senior Medical Assistant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Medical Assistant (9am-5pm CT).

Key Responsibilities

• Support patient care coordination and clinical workflows by partnering with primary care providers
• Manage patient charts, diagnostic test orders, and coordinate Durable Medical Equipment (DME) orders
• Collaborate with various departments to enhance the patient experience while upholding HIPAA standards

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Medical Assistant, preferably in a virtual or telehealth setting
• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred; Medical Assistant Certification is a plus
• Knowledge of patient care procedures, medical terminology, and healthcare operations
• Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and commitment to patient confidentiality
• Highly organized and adaptable, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
