A company is looking for a Temporary Payroll Tax Accountant.
Key Responsibilities
- Audit and reconcile approximately 200 federal, state, and local payroll tax filings for five U.S. entities
- Research variances, resolve tax notices, and file amendments with relevant agencies
- Maintain accurate documentation of all audits and research conducted
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of U.S. payroll tax experience for large multi-state employers
- Ability to operate independently with minimal oversight
- Advanced Excel skills, including V-Lookup and Pivot Tables
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience
