Sales Manager, Key Accounts – East US

Our team has a great opportunity for a Sales Manager, Key Accounts, East US Division.

This newly created role will be a key player on the FIJI Water Team and is expected to be a strategic, pro-active creative problem solver and with a demonstrated track record of professional & persuasive sales skills. We are looking for someone who understands healthy, high-quality products, has a positive attitude, and embraces the challenge of capturing opportunities in Retail key accounts.  This position reports to the Vice President of Sales – East Division.

• Identify, target, and grow dollar share in assigned markets and key accounts
• Develop and Drive Top to Top Relationship with assigned Key Customers
• Manages assigned account portfolio to include Regional Chains in the East US region
• Drive improved execution of account programming by collaborating with headquarter / Key Decision Makers and appropriate internal Merchandising Teams
• Ensures that shelving, pricing, merchandising, objectives are achieved consistently with Portfolio/Brand strategy, account objectives and efficient trade spending
• Drive quality business communication and ongoing cross-functional interaction with Merchandising Teams, Sales Planning, Business Development, Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Brand Marketing
• Leverage analytical resources to include Sales Force Data to optimize distribution, monitor/manage OOS conditions, optimal SKU/pricing strategies, and trade spend
• Take lead and initiative in understanding overall category and competitive trends
• Provide ad hoc analysis as needed by Retailers, Merchandising Teams and the Senior Leadership Team
• Manage P&L adherence reporting for Retail channels across Distributors, Chains, and Key Accounts
• Must be available for business travel up to 50% of the time to include occasional nights and weekends

• Must have minimum 5-year experience in direct call responsibility for multi-unit retail chains and distributors.
• Experience in P&L management to include financial/volume planning and forecasting
• A minimum of 5 years field management experience working with internal Sales Managers in the beverage industry is preferred
• Experienced utilizing syndicated data to build fact based selling stories/presentations (i.e., Spectra, Nielsen, IRI, Mintel)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and articulate key conclusions
• Ability to present both internally (sales team, senior leadership) and externally (retailers, restaurants, distributors)
• Customer service mindset to ensure internal/external partners receive quality sales support
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• BS/BA degree in business, finance, related field highly preferred
