Job Summary

A company is looking for an Unapplied Cash Research Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and locate incoming payments not applied to patient invoices
• Contact insurance companies and navigate websites to obtain Explanation of Benefits (EOBs)
• Balance and close payment batches in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Two years of experience posting insurance payments in a healthcare setting
• Two years of experience reading insurance Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statements preferred
• Knowledge of insurance payer types and EOB statements
• Strong balancing and reconciliation skills
