Revenue Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Revenue Accountant to manage donor revenue entry into the accounting system.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the entry of revenue from donations into the accounting system, ensuring accuracy in project and donor identification
• Prepare and post general ledger entries, focusing on online donation platforms
• Communicate with internal teams and donors to verify revenue and troubleshoot issues

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of accounting experience, preferably in accounts receivable
• Understanding of debits and credits with the ability to make journal entries
• Knowledge of fund accounting and experience in non-profit accounting
• Strong Excel skills, including data manipulation and analysis
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Slack
