Accounting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounting Manager to support client accounting services and oversee a team of accountants.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing accounting and reporting for multiple clients and serve as a resource for procedures and inquiries
• Monitor compliance with controls and assist in annual SOCR audits while managing oversight activities
• Oversee staff performance, conduct reviews, and manage ongoing communications with senior leadership and business partners

Required Qualifications

• BS in Accounting; CPA and/or CIA preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial governance
• Prior supervisory experience is a plus
• Experience with SSAE 16/SOC1 or SOX related control platforms is advantageous
• Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft applications; ability to learn new systems quickly
