Job Summary

A company is looking for a Verification of Benefits & Prior Authorization Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform insurance verifications and authorizations for orthotic and prosthetic devices
  • Communicate insurance coverage requirements and benefits to patients and team members
  • Manage patient account profiles and documentation for authorization processes
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in medical billing, preferably in orthotics or prosthetics
  • Experience with HIPAA regulations and insurance carrier websites
  • Strong computer skills; proficient in MS Office and databases
  • Minimum typing speed of 45 wpm and excellent ten-key skills
