Job Summary

A company is looking for a Vice President of Data Science & ML Strategy to lead their data science and machine learning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic management and direction for the Data Science & Engineering team, aligning efforts with business goals
• Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating technical concepts into actionable strategies
• Lead the definition, scoping, and prioritization of data science and machine learning projects to ensure alignment with business value

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data science leadership roles with a track record of managing teams
• Experience bridging technical and business understanding in previous roles
• Significant experience in data science and software engineering, understanding the development lifecycle
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms and proficiency in programming languages like Python or R
