Vice President of Legal

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Vice President of Legal to lead its legal function and provide strategic guidance to the executive team.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a key legal advisor to the executive leadership team and oversee all legal functions
• Build scalable legal infrastructure and manage compliance functions across data privacy and regulatory frameworks
• Lead and develop a high-performing legal team while managing outside counsel relationships

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of legal experience with a strong in-house track record at high-growth companies
• Juris Doctorate and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• Demonstrated leadership in commercial and compliance legal areas
• Experience in building commercial legal processes and overseeing compliance programs
• Strong management skills, including hiring and mentoring legal teams
