Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payer Contract Manager Sr.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement contracts with third-party payers to ensure effective relationships
• Lead negotiations with assigned payers regarding various reimbursement models
• Evaluate payer relationships to identify opportunities for revenue improvement and cost reduction

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree in finance, healthcare administration, or a related field, or 10+ years of relevant experience
• Minimum of seven years of experience in financial/medical data analysis or contract negotiation in healthcare
• Experience with medical and pricing terminology, including DRG, RUG, APC, RVU, and conversion factors
• Behavioral health background and knowledge of Washington Medicaid preferred
• Local to Washington State preferred
