Job Description

Are you passionate about the intersection of marketing and technology? We’re looking for a Marketing Optimization Specialist to ensure our marketing technology ecosystem supports business goals and is easy for teams to use effectively. In this role, you’ll serve as a strategic partner for our Marketing and Corporate Communications teams, helping them drive better outcomes through smarter use of tools and platforms. From system monitoring and compliance oversight to platform training and user enablement, you’ll help translate platform capabilities into real marketing impact. You'll track usage metrics, streamline workflows, champion new features, and ensure our MarTech stack is fully optimized, secure, and delivering value. 

Ideal candidates possess a blend of technical know-how and practitioner-centered thinking. You know marketing technology platforms, particularly Adobe Experience Cloud, can anticipate needs, and have a demonstrated history of uncovering opportunities for optimization. Whether supporting a process, digging into data, or communicating updates, you bring curiosity, clarity, and a collaborative spirit to the team and your work. You are trusted to make the complex simple, connecting technology, people, and outcomes in meaningful ways. 

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or direct and equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing and MarTech, systems administration, or related experience.
  • Adobe Experience Cloud experience.
  • Experience combining technical expertise with knowledge of operational business processes, system monitoring tools, troubleshooting, and performance governance.
  • Experience in workflow management or process development of business applications or systems. Ability to apply an understanding of agile methodology and utilize agile principles to benefit the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to seek and evaluate relevant information to make sound business decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, to both technical and non-technical audiences; can translate concepts clearly and concisely to individuals and groups.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders/vendors, demonstrated through successful building of rapport, trust and established relationships.
  • Proactive, self-starter with effective time management skills.
  • Results oriented and successful at managing changing, conflicting/multiple priorities.

Preferred:

  • Adobe Experience Cloud certifications in Adobe Experience Manager - Edge Delivery Services and Assets, Customer Journey Analytics, Marketo, and/or Workfront.
  • Experience working in a health insurance or healthcare-related marketing environment or other highly regulated industries.
  • Experience working in an agile operating model, fostering an agile mindset, and contributing to product optimizations and outcomes.

Additional Information

a. Monitor system health and hygiene from an end-user perspective to keep up with capabilities needed to deliver defined business outcomes.

b. Monitor integration effectiveness between systems to identify potential issues from an overall end-user effectiveness and accuracy perspective.

c. Ensure adherence to compliance and privacy regulations related to user execution and deployment of capabilities.

d. Assist in the development and maintenance of MarTech stack related process and procedures to support the organization and provides clear communication or training to cross-functional teams and other partners.

e. Administer and govern licenses, permissions, and roles across MarTech systems to ensure compliance, optimal performance, and security.

f. Inspect system outputs and monitor dashboard metrics for quality and anomalies, usage, adoption, gaps and opportunities.

g. Support platform governance, ensuring management and activation standards are met, including quality and completeness; leverage best practices to maintain platform quality and security and complete analysis in support of platform effectiveness.

h. Track and measure the effectiveness of change management through system usage and adoption of systems. Enable optimal usage of tools individually and as an integrated solution.

i. Research platform enhancements, quick tips, best practices and ongoing enablement and consistently deploys and trains users. Stays up to date on new features and updates to consider workflows, process steps, overall user enablement and user efficiencies and effectiveness; offer strong, data-driven recommendations on how each release can be applied to deliver value and drive business outcomes

j. Evaluate processes and workflows for continued optimization, efficiencies and consistency. Ensure systems are optimized for practitioners, requiring intimate working knowledge of how users need to use the systems. Extend best practices and learnings across all users for consistent use, adoption and optimization.

k. Other duties as assigned.
