Workers Compensation Claims Team Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Workers Compensation Claims Team Lead with MD, VA & DC jurisdictional knowledge for a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and process claims to achieve timely resolutions through investigation and information gathering
• Negotiate settlements of claims within designated authority and communicate claim activities with clients and claimants
• Supervise multiple teams, providing training and monitoring individual claim activities

Required Qualifications

• 5-7 years of claims management experience or equivalent education and experience
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred
• Knowledge of MD, VA, and DC jurisdictional regulations
• Licensing is not required
