zTPF File Support Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Development Engineer II.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide beginning to intermediate level zTPF File Support database and software development, testing, maintenance, and support capabilities
• Develop, enhance, test, implement, and maintain the zTPF mainframe platform and database, including supporting software and utilities
• Provide operational and production support for zTPF systems, including third level escalation and problem resolution

Required Qualifications

• Experience in technology with zTPF related experience
• Application level knowledge of the zTPF database, file system, and operating system
• Working knowledge of zTPF development and testing tools
• Knowledge of adjacent systems such as z/VM, z/Linux, and z/OS
• Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment
