Academic Designer, Literacy

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Academic Designer, Literacy/Grades 3-6.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and develop content, including learning objectives and lessons for print and digital projects
• Assist in creating prototypes, guidelines, and project documentation
• Act as a liaison between vendors, internal teams, and Academic Design teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in elementary education, literacy, linguistics, or a related field
• At least two years of editorial experience in educational publishing
• Teaching experience and literacy curriculum development for Grades 3-5 preferred
• Knowledge of curriculum standards such as CCSS, B.E.S.T., and TEKS
• Proficiency in digital learning tools and diverse computer skills
