Accounting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounting Manager, Systems and Optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary functional representative for accounting systems and tools, contributing to roadmap planning and system enhancements
• Oversee accounting application configurations, process logic, and data governance while partnering with Finance Technology on change management initiatives
• Analyze operating metrics to identify opportunities for workflow improvements and implement automation solutions to enhance efficiency

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance, including system implementation and month-end close responsibilities
• Hands-on experience with accounting systems, including configuration, testing, and optimization
• Strong understanding of accounting processes, including foreign currency translation and internal controls
• Experience with automation tools and familiarity with issue/request tracking systems
