Accounting Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounting Specialist to support various teams during transitions and workload surges.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide temporary backfill for Bookkeepers and Accounting Coordinators as needed
• Assist with client projects and onboarding cleanup tasks
• Act as a Controller for a subset of clients and maintain effective communication with team members and clients

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of a 2-year degree (AA, AS, etc.)
• 4+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Must reside in Eastern or Central time zones
• Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively
• Experience with software best practices and internal training
