Key Responsibilities

• Verify patient eligibility and authorization for healthcare services
• Conduct research on unpaid or denied claims and contact payers for payment
• Secure medical documentation and write appeal letters as needed

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• At least two years of experience in healthcare insurance accounts receivable
• Experience with billing errors, claim resubmissions, and payment follow-ups
• Knowledge of accounts receivable practices and medical business office procedures
• Experience with accounts receivable software and navigating payer sites
