Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage collections from third-party payers.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced denial management and process appeals to payers
• Resolve open claims and provide training support across multiple workflows
• Identify denial patterns and recommend process improvements for efficiency

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High school graduate or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of Accounts Receivable experience preferred
• Advanced knowledge of insurance processing and payer policies
• General understanding of medical terminology and coding (CPT, ICD-10, ASA)
• Basic math skills for calculating reimbursements and adjustments
