Denials Management Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Denials Management Specialist- Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and resolve outstanding denials and manage follow-up tasks
• Identify denial trends and educate on prevention strategies
• Initiate and manage insurance appeals in a timely manner

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School Diploma or equivalency
• 4 years of experience in medical billing with exposure to denials and appeals
• Knowledge of ICD9 and CPT-4 coding
• Familiarity with insurance explanation of benefits (EOB) and remittance codes
• Solid skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
