Scope of the Role

As a Sourcing & Pre-Production Analyst, you will play a critical role in managing the data and timelines required to bring product concepts to market. You will collaborate closely with design, production, planning, and logistics teams to ensure products are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This position is essential in supporting strategic sourcing decisions, optimizing supplier relationships, and maintaining rigorous quality and compliance standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Sourcing Support:

  • Assist in identifying and onboarding new suppliers and factories across apparel categories.
  • Collect and analyze cost breakdowns, lead times, and minimum order quantities (MOQs) from vendors to support sourcing decisions.
  • Maintain accurate records of vendor capabilities, pricing, and compliance certifications.

Data Management & Reporting:

  • Build and maintain tracking tools for sample status, production timelines, and vendor performance.
  • Analyze historical cost, margin, and vendor data to inform sourcing strategies.
  • Partner with planning and finance teams to provide data inputs for margin planning and cost forecasting.

Compliance & Risk Mitigation:

  • Ensure all vendors meet compliance and ethical sourcing standards as defined by company policies.
  • Support risk assessments related to sourcing regions and production timelines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in sourcing, production, or supply chain operations within the apparel industry.
  • Proficient in Excel and data tools; experience with PLM and ERP systems is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with shifting priorities.
  • Experience with Centric, NetSuite, and Anvyl is a plus.
