Activations Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Activations Technician to manage the testing and implementation of services related to Ethernet and network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete activations for external customers, including new installs and disconnects
• Collaborate with various departments to troubleshoot and resolve activation issues
• Maintain and support network infrastructure while ensuring accurate communication with customers

Required Qualifications

• Background in telecommunications or a related field of study/work
• At least one certification in telecom or networking fields
• Fundamental knowledge of the OSI model and Ethernet technologies
• Familiarity with Layer 2 hardware and software, including Cisco IOS and other related technologies
• Availability for overnight maintenance as required by business needs
