ADABAS Mainframe Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an ADABAS Mainframe Engineer - remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor automation messages for database exception conditions and analyze application and database performance problems
• Implement database turnover requests, support database backup and maintenance processes, and provide level one and level two support on database systems
• Build tools to automate reporting and monitor platform stability while following escalation procedures

Required Qualifications

• University Degree (B.S.) with 7 to 10 years of technical experience
• Solid familiarity with z/OS IBM mainframe and ADABAS database on mainframe
• Experience with Agile development, SDLC, and DevOps best practices
• Data analysis and manipulation skills; scripting/coding experience is a plus
• Experience with Project Management preferred
