About the position

The Admissions CRM Manager / Slate Administrator at UMass Chan Medical School is responsible for managing the Slate CRM system, serving as the primary contact for admissions staff across multiple schools. This role involves overseeing operational activities, ensuring data integrity, and supporting the admissions process from prospect to enrollee. The successful candidate will leverage technical expertise to optimize system performance and facilitate effective communication and collaboration among admissions teams.

Responsibilities
• Administer the Slate CRM system and serve as the primary point of contact for admissions staff.

• Oversee data imports and exports, process automation, and file transfers to ensure system performance.

• Design, test, and analyze management reports to support admissions initiatives.
,
• Create and implement queries and processes for efficient daily operations.
,
• Manage data operational activities and ensure data integrity for prospective students.
,
• Collaborate with internal and external CRM support providers to test new functionalities and upgrades.
,
• Support admissions teams with application management, events, and communication needs.
,
• Document processes and provide ongoing CRM training to staff.
,
• Build and update Slate-hosted applications and forms to maximize efficiency.
,
• Streamline processes and find operational efficiencies across the admission lifecycle.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in higher education or a comparable field.

• Experience with development and management of Slate CRM system.
,
• Excellent technical, interpersonal, communication, organization, and time management skills.
,
• Ability to work efficiently in a detail-oriented and deadline-driven environment.

• Demonstrated knowledge of web development languages such as HTML and CSS; experience with JavaScript, SQL, and XML preferred.

• Experience in data management, including security and integrity.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse groups.

Nice-to-haves
• Experience with the import and export of data in CRM systems.
