API Developer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an API Developer to support the Department of Veterans Affairs in a fully remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and document API specifications, endpoints, data models, and protocols
• Build and implement APIs using programming languages and frameworks
• Ensure seamless integration of APIs with internal and external systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related discipline
• 5 years of relevant experience; Degree may be substituted for 8 years of experience
• Advanced knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS), Git, Java REST Web Service, Spring Boot, and SQL
• U.S. Citizenship; Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
