Application Security Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Application Security Analyst to provide security guidance to application development teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide application security guidance and educate development teams on best practices and security automation
• Perform application security assessments and architectural risk assessments of internally developed products and systems
• Develop techniques and frameworks to help development teams identify security flaws before production

Required Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, CIS, Software Engineering, or related degree
• 2-7 years of experience in a security role focused on application security
• 2 years of experience in a development role, preferably in a Java environment
• Advanced understanding of application architecture, authentication, authorization, and public cloud services
• Familiarity with OWASP & SANS security coding flaws, threat modeling, and security code analysis
