Application Security Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Application Security Analyst who will provide security guidance to application development teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide application/product security guidance and educate development teams on best practices and automation
• Perform application security assessments, threat modeling, and security code reviews for internally developed products
• Develop techniques and frameworks to help development teams identify security flaws before production

Required Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, CIS, Software Engineering, or related degree
• 2-7 years of experience in a security role focused on application security
• 2 years of experience in a development role, preferably in a Java environment
• Experience with assessing application code and familiarity with OWASP & SANS security coding flaws
• Advanced understanding of application architecture, authentication, public cloud, and cryptography
