Senior Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and manage EKS clusters on AWS, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency
• Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform to manage cloud resources across multiple environments
• Collaborate with application and platform engineering teams to modernize workloads and migrate monolithic applications into cloud-native, containerized microservices

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Kubernetes/EKS experience (deploying, scaling, and securing clusters in AWS)
• Expertise in Terraform for IaC; experience creating reusable modules and managing state in enterprise environments
• Strong background in AWS cloud services (VPC, IAM, ECR, ALB/NLB, Route53, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, etc.)
• Proven experience modernizing applications from monoliths to microservices/cloud-native architectures
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
