Job Summary

A company is looking for a Qualys SME contractor to support the Qualys environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee scanning tools (Qualys) and ensure coverage across the targeted environment
• Evaluate vulnerabilities based on CVSS scores, exploitability, threat intelligence, and business context to prioritize remediation efforts
• Coordinate with system owners and stakeholders for patching, configuration changes, or compensating controls

Required Qualifications

• Experience with Qualys implementation and optimization
• Understanding of vulnerability assessment and management
• Knowledge of CVSS scoring and threat intelligence
• Familiarity with patch management and configuration controls
• Ability to work in a remote environment, preferably within the EST time zone
