Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer III to join their security engineering team remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Integrate application security tools into development workflows
• Review and validate vulnerabilities, providing remediation guidance to developers
• Act as a subject matter expert in Application Security and support AI/ML feature integration

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in application security, software development, or related technical roles
• Strong experience with GitHub Advanced Security and code scanning tools
• Familiarity with SAST, DAST, IAST, and software composition analysis tools
• Background in software development with experience in at least one modern programming language
• Knowledge of offensive security testing tools such as Burp Suite and Kali Linux
