AS/400 Application Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Application Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand the business purpose and overall processes of the AS400 application
• Document AS400 environments, including OS levels and database versions
• Identify compliance requirements applicable to the AS400 system and ensure adherence

Required Qualifications

• Experience with IBM AS/400 RPG III and RPG IV
• Proficiency in AS/400 CLP/400 and SQL Data Analysis
• Familiarity with DB2 database and communication protocols specific to AS400
• Understanding of configuration and release management
• Knowledge of monitoring mechanisms and housekeeping processes on AS400 servers
