Associate Category Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Category Manager - Canned & Frozen.

Key Responsibilities

• Negotiate and manage Frozen Category Programs to enhance revenue returns for members
• Assist in budget development and maintenance of member revenue returns in the Frozen department
• Act as the primary liaison between members and assigned Frozen Approved Suppliers

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Associates Degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of eight (8) years of foodservice experience in purchasing and negotiations
• Foodservice distributor experience preferred
• High familiarity with frozen supplier categories such as frozen potatoes and plant-based proteins
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with AS400 or compatible systems
