Sourcing Assistant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sourcing Assistant (China) to support their product development team.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between the Merchandising/Product Development teams and overseas factory partners
• Coordinate sample processing and international shipping for new product development
• Negotiate pricing and payment terms with suppliers to optimize cost-efficiency

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience sourcing products in China
• Proven experience in negotiating pricing and minimum order quantities (MOQs)
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese (C1 level or higher) and professional English proficiency (B2 level or higher)
• Strong organizational skills for managing sample shipments and product development timelines
• Prior experience sourcing home decor products is preferred
