Associate Director of Data Science

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Director for R&D Data Science and Digital Health, Real-World Evidence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of Real-World Evidence (RWE) projects, developing best practices and mentoring peers
• Oversee end-to-end RWE studies, including research question conceptualization, study design, and analysis
• Partner with stakeholders to drive strategic planning and enhance the impact of the RWE team

Required Qualifications

• Ph.D. or master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., epidemiology, statistics, biostatistics)
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in biopharma or healthcare industries
• Extensive hands-on experience with data engineering, statistical modeling, and causal inference methods
• Proficiency in statistical programming languages, particularly R or Python, with working knowledge of SAS and SQL
• Demonstrated experience in managing operations and stakeholder relationships
