Audit Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Audit Consultant to provide senior-level expertise in audit engagements across multiple portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute complex audit procedures and analyze findings to propose solutions
• Drive audit teams in planning and executing validation procedures for Internal Audit and Regulatory issues
• Coach and mentor junior audit team members while ensuring compliance with operational risk controls

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Technology, Cybersecurity, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, with 7 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in a leadership role
• Strong project management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to make sound decisions independently
• Subject matter expertise in internal audit disciplines or specific Lines of Business such as Commercial Banking or Risk Management
• Effective negotiation skills and a proactive communication approach
• Preferred certifications include CPA, CIA, or CISA; MBA or Master's degree is also preferred
