Automation Tester

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Automation Tester (Web) to join their platform engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, write, and execute test cases for API endpoints and web components
• Identify and document defects, and collaborate with development teams for resolution
• Participate in Agile meetings and provide detailed reporting of testing results and quality metrics

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 3-6 years of professional testing experience in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java for test automation
• Experience with SQL and database testing for data integrity and validation
• Knowledge of web services, RESTful APIs, and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) testing methodologies
