Azure Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Azure Data Engineer to lead the administration, integration, and technical optimization of Microsoft Purview.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical owner and administrator for Microsoft Purview, managing configurations and access controls
• Automate metadata ingestion and lineage capture from Azure services and external sources
• Integrate Purview with existing data pipelines and design technical metadata models

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in cloud data engineering, platform administration, or data governance roles
• Familiarity with Azure Data Services such as Synapse and Data Lake Gen2
• Understanding of data catalog structures and metadata types
• Ability to troubleshoot scanning issues and permission gaps across data sources
• 1+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview preferred
