Backend Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Backend Software Engineer to join their Recommendations Backend team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend systems and services for the recommendation engine
• Develop server-side logic and infrastructure, including APIs and databases
• Collaborate with ML and data engineering teams to integrate models into production

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in building and operating scalable backend systems
• Strong proficiency in one or more backend programming languages (e.g., Go, Java, Python)
• Good understanding of Linux and Kubernetes, with experience in cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google)
• Familiarity with data infrastructure concepts such as Kafka, Spark, or Airflow
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
